Local Proclamations: Bringing Awareness to the Arts

Across Santa Cruz County, local governments are recognizing the vital role of arts and culture in strengthening our communities and economy. City Councils and the Board of Supervisors are issuing official proclamations to highlight the significance of the arts sector and inspire public support.

Proclamations bring visibility to the arts and build momentum for advocacy. By attending and engaging with local leaders, you help ensure continued investment in the creative sector. The arts drive economic growth, enhance education, and create a more vibrant, connected community.
