In the spirit of sustainability, adaptability, and continued service to our creative community, Arts Council Santa Cruz County is now occupying a smaller portion the Kron House at the Tannery Arts Center. This adjustment helps us balance our budget, modernize our operations, and focus our resources where they matter most: supporting artists, cultural leaders, and creative expression throughout Santa Cruz County.
While our footprint is smaller, our mission is as strong as ever: to fuel creativity, nurture cultural equity, and make meaningful connections through the arts.
This move reflects our values, stewardship, creativity, and resilience. By streamlining our space, we’re making room for deeper impact across the County. We remain fully committed to artists and cultural workers who make Santa Cruz County such a vibrant place to live.
Jim Brown, Executive Director, Arts Council Santa Cruz County
The Tannery Arts Center has long been a vibrant part of our story, and we’re proud to remain deeply rooted here. Meanwhile, the City of Santa Cruz’s Economic Development team is exploring exciting possibilities for new tenants to bring fresh energy to the space we’ve vacated.
Our mailing address and office hours remain the same, and we’d love to see you.
Thank you for walking this creative journey with us.
