The Watsonville Film Festival has launched a new initiative called the Cine Si Puede Filmmaker Fellowship, which aims to support emerging filmmakers from the area. The fellowship provides a platform for fellows to showcase their work and receive mentorship from industry professionals. The festival hopes that the fellowship will help to address the lack of diversity in the film industry by providing opportunities and resources to those who may not have access to them otherwise.
