SPECTRA Grants
Matching Grants for Schools and Community Organizations
SPECTRA grants are no longer available. Previously, these grants provided funding to Santa Cruz County K-12 public schools and community organizations to enhance their arts education programs by bringing teaching artists into classrooms for visual, performing, or literary arts workshops, residencies, and performances. Matching grants were awarded, based on funding availability, up to $2,000.
We prioritize our funding based on equity and where we can make the greatest sustainable impact. Our number one priority goes to schools where 60-100% of students are students of color, English Language Learners, on free and reduced meal plans, and foster youth.
