Bio
Fred is a Teaching Artist, an arts integration advocate, and a social justice activist. He does playshops on string figure storytelling, theater arts, and arts integration across many disciplines. He has done long- and short-term residencies as a Visual and Performing Arts Teacher in almost every Watsonville elementary school. He is also a Connected Learning Facilitator and teaches self-direction via real-world projects and string games through his String Stories Project. He was invited to present about his work at this year’s National Storytelling Summit.
