Bio:
Maryam Tajfar is a teaching artist, art teacher, media teacher and Founder of ARTExperience: holding two Master’s degrees in Visual Arts and Journalism she has many creative experiences and always has been trying to elevate artistic skills of students and transforming them into enthusiastic learners and potential leaders of communities. When she designs a lesson plan (aligned with CA Teaching Standards) she has students’ backgrounds, needs, artistic abilities, and their future career goals in her mind.

Program Offering 1: Mixed Media Photo Collages, Don’t Miss it!

Brief Program Description and Learning Goals:
Choose your favorite photo and prepare your favorite color paper, a small watercolor box, two brushes and one colorful vintage tape. That’s it, you will learn how to make the Holiday or Birthday Card that is both pleasing to the eyes and meaningful because it connects to your heart. After this lesson you will learn sophisticated techniques for making unforgettable collages that are very close to your heart.

The American Poet Walt Whitman once said: “The glory of expression is Simplicity.”Learn how to paint a Still Life painting like an Abstract Painter. For an abstract still life drawing , you need a pencil and lightweight paper. You will understand the concepts of Lines & Colors and how to draw and then you will see the magic of creating an Abstract Painting and how your artistic skill has grown.
